Yonnas Getahun is a media artist, a poet, and an independent curator. He bridges communities... whether they are of Visual & Literary Artists, Community-Activists, or Art Patrons. In the last seven years, Getahun has launched, curated, and co-founded numerous projects, events, and experiments, specifically setting out to solve shared problems, to inspire discourse of the mundane, the obvious, and to encourage self-expression. In December 2016, Getahun published a book of poetry titled, I Hung Myself on the Moon.
