There’s a lot of geometrical artwork floating around these days. A lot of it is shrouded in collaged backdrops and fancy borders, but Tom Gallo needs only lovely textures — largely of the wood grain variety — and shapes surrounded by negative space to create some really interesting works. These pieces aren’t overly busy, but they still manage to keep the eyeballs busy. You can also buy prints for a lot of these pieces on Gallo’s website.
