Francesca Lee – Self-Titled Album Review

Francesca Lee’s sound is so reminiscent of ’90s fem rock that it’s as if a transportation has taken place: I’m now 19-years-old, lying on the floor next to the speakers, probably crying over some faceless boyfriend. I can feel every word deeply, and the music engulfs my emotions. If you are in need of nostalgia and feeling a bit sentimental, then you might want to listen to Lee. Her voice is soft and sultry; she commands the attention of her audience. You can turn to her if you’ve worn out all your fem rock CD’s and have been praying for an updated version. Gear up your vocal chords, take a long drive, and sing your heart out!
