These delicious little vignettes feel like stumbling into the middle of a different era. I admit to mixed feelings about the fact that nostalgia for simpler times has become so pervasive in our current culture, but Alex Higlett does such a wonderful job of creating a truly immersive environment that I find myself embracing that sense of sweet wistfulness.
