A while back I stumbled upon the most amazing book in the entire world. Leonardo Ericailcane is mostly known for his large scale street art antics, but his works on paper are equally impressive in an entirely different way. In his book Potente Di Fuoco, Ericailcane takes all of the drawings from his childhood and redraws them 20 years later. It’s a brilliant idea (I admit I desperately wish I had come up with it), and the images really speak for themselves.
Also, Ericailcane is currently showing at Upper Playground in San Francisco. He painted a sweet new mural for the occasion. Show runs through December 19th.
